The summer palace of Frederick the Great in Potsdam, near Berlin. Sanssouci was designed by Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff between 1745 and 1747. It was a private residence where Frederick could relax from the hubbub of Berlin court. The name ,,Sanssouci” is really intersting because comes from French phrase : ‘sans souci’ which means ,,no worries” or ,,without concerns”. If you will be in Potsdam, you should see this magical place! Below you will find my shoots’ from this historical place.
