The Campbell Sisters

Lorenzo Bartolini
The Campbell Sisters dancing a Waltz (1821-1822)

SONY DSC

My quick retrospection to my favourite sculptures from Scottish National Gallery. Sulpture by Lorenzo Bartolini is the most important piece of Italian sculpture carved for a Scottish patron in the nineteenth century. The Capbell sisters – Emma and Julia showing marvelous artistic job by Bartolini, tip-toe poses, details of draperies are the best example of his craft. I absolutely fell in love with their graceful that comes from delicate ”moves” of marble sculpture… Please check out my all photos below, I focused on a divers perspectives, figures still dancing and talking… I’m sure that you’ll notice their dynamic around all visitors at the gallery 馃檪

My velvet love and Neon by Yael Bartana

_mg_8342

W obiektywnie Pauliny Babickiej, inspiracja neonem projektu Yael Bartana. Kilka zdj臋膰 z Narodowej Galerii Sztuki Zach臋ta. Ostatnimi czasy powr贸ci艂am do moich ubra艅 z weluru, postawi艂am tu na lekko ekstrawaganck膮 marynark臋 o ciekawej fakturze pionowych pas贸w. Stylizacje uspokoi艂am basicow膮 bluzk膮 o jednolitym kolorze i klasycznymi, szarymi cygaretkami. Z pewno艣ci膮 welur zawita jeszcze nie raz w moich zestawieniach 馃檪 Mi艂ego ogl膮dania!

In camera’s Paulina Babicka’s, inspiration by the neon project byYael Bartan. A few shoots from the Zach臋ta National Gallery of Art. Recently, I returned to my velur clothes, I choosen here a slightly extravagant jacket with an interesting texture with vertical stripes. I ”calmed down” my outfit with a basic white blouse classic and gray cigarette trousers. Certainly will chose velvet more than once for my future outft sets 馃檪

Enjoy my post!

Pora na fiolet, koszyk i troch臋 sztuki! Przybywam do Was z moj膮 ostatni膮 mi艂o艣ci膮 czyli vintage koszykiem z kt贸rym ostatnio w og贸le si臋 rozstaje 馃檪 Grubo pleciony w geometryczne wzory z r臋cznie wykonanymi uchwytami z drewna to m贸j must have tego lata. Nigdy nie by艂am wielk膮 fank膮 fio艂kowego fioletu, jednak w zestawieniu z jasnym koszykiem i butami w kolorze burgundu zacz臋艂am si臋 powoli do niego przekonywa膰 – kwestia dodatk贸w zawsze potrafi namiesza膰! Poni偶ej kilka zdj臋膰 mojego zestawu oraz ostatnia inspiracja czyli tw贸rczo艣膰 Picassa i Caldera. Je艣li odwiedzicie to miejsce do 25 sierpnia to idealna okazja zobaczy膰 wystaw臋 Calder-Picasso ukazuj膮c膮 w bardzo ciekawy spos贸b dwie jak偶e r贸偶norodne percepcje sztuki.

It’s time for violet, basket and some art! I’m here for you with my last love – vintage basket witch I can’t stop wear 馃檪 Strongly braided in geometric patterns with hand-made wooden handles – it’s absolutely my must have this summer. I’ve never been a big fan of violet purple, but in combination with the vintage basket and burgundy shoes, I slowly began persuade to him – the issue of accessories is always confusing! Below you’ll find some photos of my set and the last inspiration, there are works by Picasso and Calder. Recently during my visit in the beautiful building of the Musee National Picasso Paris – Picasso Museum in Paris, I tried to capture the amazing works of Pablo Picasso and suprisly also of Calder, whose work I found there too 馃檪 In this museum you will find many works of this Spanish master from different periods of his artistic path – there are oil paintings but also sculptures or cut-outs. If you want to visit this place until August 25, it is brilliant opportunity to admire the Calder-Picasso exhibition which shows in a very interesting way two different perceptions for art. Below I attached some photos from this exhibition for you – Do you think that there is a common denominator in the work of these artists? Despite of that art of an American artist who created many kinetic sculptures but also paintings or miniature prints is definitely different in the way of expression than Pablo’s works, I think that their work is crossing in a very interesting place …
